Antenatal care
We are passionate about delivering holistic antenatal health care. Women are encouraged to book as early into the pregnancy as possible in order for us to correctly date the pregnancy and plan the subsequent management during pregnancy accordingly. We see both low risk and high risk cases. Each pregnant women will be given a home based antenatal record that should be presented every time they see any doctors or nurses.
As part of the care for antenatal woman, all women would have;
-
Antenatal booking including blood tests
-
Antenatal check up including high risk pregnancies
-
Ultrasound scan including dating scan, detailed scan (where applicable), and growth scan
-
Postnatal check-up
Regular antenatal classes to educate women about their pregnancy and caring for their newborn, and most importantly prepare them for their birthing journey are also being conducted. These classes are conducted by the obstetricians, nurses, physiotherapists, dietician and anaesthetists.

Inpatient procedure

Hysteroscopic surgery – it is a minimally invasive gynaecological procedure using a hysteroscope (see above) and can directly treat any problem such as remove polyp, remove or destroy lining of womb (for those with heavy menstruation) and removal of fibroid.
-
Minor surgeries such as laparoscopy – also known as keyhole surgery or minimally invasive surgery. It allows the surgeon to look inside of the abdomen and pelvis without having to make a large incision in the skin.
-
Major surgeries such as hysterectomy (removal of womb) or myomectomy (removal of fibroid)
Patients will be admitted for gynaecological surgery and cared for in the wards by dedicated nurses and doctors.
